JULY 2005

THE PRESIDENT’S CORNER

It’s hard to believe that I’ll be writing only 3 more of these articles – the year is gliding by quickly. June has been a significant month – we grew the membership by four new Kiwanians. Specials thanks go to Kiwanian Ernie Wade and the Membership Committee for the hard work. Welcome new Kiwanians Teddy McCracken, Jeff Roberts, Thom Rutledge, and Joel Sutphin. We’re very glad to have you aboard!

The next project is the Football Program ad sales. This is a good money-maker for us so sell those ads! Also, please don’t forget to sell the Kiwanis Boosters for $5 each – this is pure profit.

Thanks for your continued efforts and support.

-Gary

WELCOME (TIMES 4)

I don’t get to write this often, and I don’t think I’ve ever written a “times four” Welcome. Guess alphabetically will do?

He is sponsored by Chuck Stone.

Welcome to all, we hope you will enjoy your Kiwanis experience as we older members have. You will find that working to improve the lives of kids in our community is a very rewarding experience.

A QUOTE

"Someday you will appreciate the grammar and verbal skills you learned here. And if any of you wonder how far a mastery of the English language can take you, just look what it did for me."
