Sunday School meets regular at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday before the morning worhsip services. We currently have classes for various ages and needs.
A Children's Church program is provided during the Sunday morning worship (11:00 a.m.) for children ages 2-6. We also have begun a Children's program on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.
This church supports many various missionary causes. A few of them are:
The Sunday School teachers meet at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday before Sunday School to have a time of prayer. We have a ladies' prayer time every Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. and a men's prayer time every Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.
Prayer is an important part of all services. Each weekend, many share their prayer requests, praises and answers to prayer. The church prints a list of prayer requests and each member holds up one another in prayer. Prayer partners and prayer groups in homes are encouraged.
Every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. we have an informal study of the Bible or other church growth issues. The topics can vary from week to week or we study a series a lessons. This is an informal time to meet with other christians who have questions. This is an open question and answer session lead by the Pastor. Many members participate in the Daily Walk or Closer Walk bible study series. The last Wednesday of each month is a review and discussion session of that month's readings.
Church Library and Other Resources
The library, located in the small reading room in the sanctuary building is organized according to topic and includes many valuable helps as well as videos and audios. Anyone may use the library simply by checking out materials. There are also many teaching resources located in the church office. Please see Claudette Nichols for help.
The music and worship committee provide leadership to our worship services. This does not only include a morning choir, but also planning of special services. They also oversee the special flowers in memory at Easter and Christmas.
The Church of God purchased a William Sound System for the Hearing Impaired. This system works along with the regular sound system. Please see an usher for assistance in obtaining the hearing device before the worship service.
The church facilities are handicap accessible. There are handicap ramps and a handicap parking. We also have a carport to use during bad weather. If you have a special need please contact the church office.
