The House That Music Built

A Harp Extravaganza was held on 10 September 2006 at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church to raise funds for The House That Music Built.
25 harps played beautifully.

In 2002 the music staff at Blacksbburg United Methodist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class began the Build-a-Habitat-House-with-Music project; to date (September 2005) nearly $30,000 has been raised through the sales of 7 CDs produced by staff members. To celebrate the 20th year of New River Valley Habitat, the oldest affiliate in the state, a HARP EXTRAVAGANZA is planned for Sept '06 in Blacksburg.

The CDs are:

Healng Harp Melodies I and II:

which allow the body, mind, and spirit
to become unfocused and totally relaxed.
HHM I has sold over 1500 copies.
Healng Harp Melodies II

Christmas Fantasia:
The Divertimento Trio, also of Blacksburg, Va.,
presents 54 minutes of holiday favorites
