The Delta Gamma Sorority has been an active supporter of the Blacksburg Lions Clubs' Walk-a-Thon for several years. More recently, it has also supported several Lions projects with substantial financial support, for which the Club is sincerely appreciative. The Club used the 2005 Sorority donation to support the following charitable causes:
1. Eye exams and eyeglasses for local-area people: 50%
2. Roanoke Eye-glass Recycling Center: 25%
3. Leader Dog Program, Rochester, MI: 12.5%
4. Old Dominion Eye Foundation, Richmond, VA: 12.5%
