The Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program assists families and individuals in immediate, temporary, and emergency situations. Its efforts are coordinated with the major local social service agencies and with area civic and religious groups. MCEAP serves those who failed to qualify for public assistance or had exhausted their benefits. Its philosophy is one of assisting county residents in maintaining their households and restoring their self sufficiency.
