"It takes a village to raise a child."

That famous quote embodies the commitment of all the people it takes to put LOGOS together. From the cook to the chimes teacher it takes everyone to run the program. We have grammar school teachers, VT professors, at-home moms, as well as retired people in our program. We also rely on each parent's help.

The LOGOS ministry enables parents to fulfill a portion of the basic responsibilities set by God for them in the raising of their children. Parents take an active role in LOGOS by choosing from a variety of ways to participate. They assist their children with assignments, encourage regular participation, and nurture their faith and growth in the Christian life.

Active participation by at least one parent of every child in LOGOS is required. LOGOS is staffed by volunteers (except our minister) so part time service by a large number of people is essential to keep the many activities going. Important, too, is the morale-boosting effect of the parent's presence and visible support of the program from time to time. This is a vital element in the successful operation of the LOGOS ministry.
