Project Descriptions:
Beeks Kindergarten
Anniversary Garden (America's Anniversary Garden)
Master Gardeners will be helping with two kindergarten classes at
Margaret Beeks Elementary School as they plant red, white, and blue flowers
in two small garden plots located under their class windows. The kids
have already planted spring-blooming bulbs and will be adding annuals and
perennials that match the color scheme and attract butterflies and
birds. The kids will be watering their garden and keeping track of
garden visitors. The teachers are excited about this project and we're
hoping the kids love it as well.
