• How can my organization obtain a Web-site like this one?

  • The Blacksburg Electronic Village offers Web site hosting, DNS (Domain Name Service), e-mail, listservs, and other services for area non-profit organizations. See BEV's Community Connections section for more information about available services.

  
  
• Can my organization obtain a domain name such as http://www.yourgroup.org and still be hosted by BEV?
  • Yes, The Blacksburg Electronic Village offers Domain Name Service to those organizations that have a registered domain name. Please see http://civic.bev.net or visit our office to find out if this service is right for your organization.
  
  
• My organization has a Web-site with BEV and needs to add a calendar to our package. Can BEV provide this service for us?
  • Yes, your organization may obtain an automated calendar for only $18/year. Please visit the BEV office to add this service to your current package.
  
  
• Can my organization have a listserv?
  • Yes, BEV also provides listservs. These may be obtained as part of a Community Connections package. Some organizations require more than one listserv. Each listserv allows for up to 100 subscribers and can be customized to fit the needs of the individual organization. Some organizations wish to have multiple public and private accounts. Please visit the BEV Office to find out which service is right for your organization.
