Brunch for Miss Louise Long



As a show of appreciation for all of her hard work, a brunch was held in honor of Miss Louise Long at the home of Ms. Pat Heath. During the lunch, Miss Louise was presented with a corsage and a plaque commemorating her many years as an inspirational member of the Woman's Club of Radford. | |

| During the brunch, speakers were invited to talk about Miss Louise's accomplishments. Mrs. Mel Honeycutt spoke about Miss Louise's accomplishments in the Professional Business Women's Club. She was among the founding members of this club in 1955 and is still a current member. | |

| Mrs. Andrea Neighbors spoke about Miss Louise's life and her many contributions to the Woman's Club of Radford. Miss Louise joined the Woman's Club of Radford in 1976 and was president from 1978 to 1981. During her time in the Woman's Club of Radford, she has held many offices. She was always willing to lend a hand . | |

| Recently, Miss Louise spoke to a senior class at Radford University about her life. During this time, she reminisced of a a tea she had thrown for Elizabeth Taylor and John Warner in 1979. Miss Louise loves to travel and has visited such places as New Zealand and Europe. Her zest for living her life to the fullest and her love of people is really inspirational. | |
