About Us
The Woman's Club of Radford was organized in 1901 to promote the educational, environmental, and cultural welfare of the area. Since its inception, our club has worked to address the most pressing needs of our community. This includes promoting education, preserving natural resources, stressing good citizenship, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and supporting participation in the arts. In recent years, our efforts have largely focused on childrens literacy. The Woman's Club of Radford is a volunteer organization striving to meet the needs of today and whose purpose is to work cooperatively giving service in our community. All women who are in sympathy with the work and who live up to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of the Womans Club of Radford are eligible for membership. Our membership includes women of all ages. |
