The Woman’s Club of
Radford hosted the first Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) book distribution of the school year
at McHarg Elementary School on October 20. This year, each child in
kindergarten, first, and second grade will receive three books which they chose
themselves. In keeping with the season, the theme was “Fall into Good Reading
Habits”. In the photo, Betty Overdorf reads to kindergarten students who are
participating in RIF for the first time. |
